How can it be 2009 already? It seems like we just started. Keeping up with this technology takes a lot of time and I seem to be running at a snail's pace. Maybe by the 4th quarter I will be able to post more often.
This will be my 34th year teaching elementary students. I have taught at three schools and I've been at Loretto since 1989.
My husband and I are Jacksonville natives and were high school sweethearts. We married in 1975, and have two grown sons of whom we are extremely proud.
Trey lives in New Orleans and works for Shell Oil. He was awarded a USMC scholarship and graduated from Jacksonville University with a degree in International Business. He served our country for 4 years as a 1st Lt. in the United States Marine Corps and completed 2 tours of duty in Iraq.
Darren graduated from University of North Florida, just like his mom. His degree is in Criminal Justice and he is now an Officer with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. We hope he will become a detective just like his dad, who is now retired.
My husband and I have two dogs. Beau is a 2 year old Golden Retriever and Scruffy is a "mystery" dog we rescued from the pound. We love them and think they are both beautiful.
I'll tell you more when I share my Apple of Our Eye board.
